You’ve seen it on TV, right?
Four very successful business people sitting in front of aspiring entrepreneurs. The applicants want help and investment from one of “the best”. They then get ripped to shreds for the nation’s entertainment…what a laugh!
I don’t think so. In fact, I think it’s somewhere between embarrassing and downright abusive for the applicants. I appreciate that the individual Dragons are successful entrepreneurs themselves with multiple million £££’s successes behind them. But they forget that they too were once struggling to start their first business or to grow their current one.
The Yawning Pit…
As a small business owner myself, I still remember staring into that dark yawning pit at 3am in the morning. “OMG…what can I do…?” (or words to that effect) spring to mind. That was over 17 years ago and I can assure you that it does get better!
However, along the way I wished I had a mentor whom I could turn to for help and guidance to get out of the pit…or just a shoulder to cry on occasionally. Starting a business is hard, but is countered with enthusiasm, energy and conviction from the aspiring business owner.
Growing a business is even harder. The honeymoon period when you’re 18 months to 2 years in ends and the initial successes have faded.
Many small and medium sized business owners then reach a natural “success ceiling” through their own efforts and skills but find it difficult (or sometimes impossible) to break through that ceiling. This is where (they think) a Dragon could help them. I disagree.
At Business Doctors we have a simple 10 step system that will help you break through that ceiling and go on to achieve visionary goals. You don’t need the Dragons or the Den.
Come to our free Seminar to see what we mean and why we say we have the Antidote to the Dragons Den.
Book your tickets here – I would love to meet you and see if I can help you to break through that ceiling.
