5 myths about business support that we will look to destroy in 2016
by simonm

Our upcoming seminar on the 4th February 2016 in central Leeds will provide me with an opportunity to bust a few myths about business support.
Myth #1, ‘I’m too busy working in my business to work on my business.’
Give me 3 hours of your time and I’ll show you how just by stepping back from your business can give you the fresh perspective needed to really make a difference.  Give yourself the space to think about what you really want in the future and you will be surprised with results!
Myth #2, ‘I’m happy with my business at its current level.’
That may be the case, but I’m betting you would prefer to be seeing your business grow whilst leaving you feeling less stressed?  If you invest time thinking about the future (and no, not just whilst you’re in the car on the way to the next meeting) you will start to understand how to move toward a more manageable future.
Myth #3, ‘Business planning is just a box-ticking exercise.’
Business Doctors don’t follow that particular ethos.  We work with businesses of all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique set of problems.  We don’t try to shoehorn anyone into a predetermined pigeonhole; we work on a case-by-case basis to understand the issues at hand, and then partner with business owners to plan the best route ahead.
Myth #4, ‘My business has received support in the past, it didn’t help.’
We believe that by developing a longer-term relationship with business owners we can provide much better outcomes. If it was easy you would have made the necessary changes yourself. We take a long term approach since only with time can we demonstrate our true worth to your business.
Myth #5, ‘Business planning is boring.’
Not the way we do it.  Attend our seminar and you’ll see we don’t churn out the same old clichés.  We work really hard to produce a compelling and interactive experience for everyone involved.
