With extensive business experience both internationally and within the UK, David Jeans is part of the Business Doctors support network, dedicated to helping small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) achieve their goals and aspirations.
David has a strong background in general management at board level, having held a number of director and managing director positions. His commercial acumen, practical nature and people-oriented approach make David an unbeatable ally when it comes to taking an SME forward.
David has varied experience in a wide range of areas, including business planning, strategy development and implementation, sales and marketing, business restructuring, organizational change, project management, export operations, performance management and learning and development.
Having worked in a variety of management and leadership roles for almost 30 years, David says he has enormous empathy for small business owners.
“I understand the challenges of running enterprises of all sizes and can listen, provide practical advice and then, most importantly, get involved to help drive things forward,” he says.
“I really enjoy the 'business of business', and to me it makes little difference what product or service that a company offers. The basic principles of how to build and develop a better business are the same, and I am here to help.
“As a business owner, it always helps to have a sounding board for discussion and to see things from an alternative perspective. Running your business can sometimes be a lonely place and my aim is to provide both coaching and practical support, and in so doing make a meaningful difference to the wider community.
“Business Doctors don’t just coach, we get on the pitch!”
David is based in Bournemouth and covers the wider Dorset region.
He offers a free, no obligation, one hour “Business Health Check” for companies interested in reaching their next level of growth, improving productivity and ultimately achieving their business aspirations. David can be contacted on 07469937793 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
