February 20th, 2018
Business Doctor Richard Tidswell has been recognised by his clients as one of the best in Britain at what he does.
The Bath, Bristol & West of England Business Doctor has been nominated in the human resources category of Enterprise Nation’s Top 50 Advisors contest, which is being held in collaboration with consumer credit-reporting agency Experian.
Business coaching, especially in regards to improving staff engagement, often takes a deft hand, and it is clear that Richard’s clients believe he has guided them well. The Business Doctor was nominated by the public for the human resources category, making him one of the top five in this field, and the top fifty overall in the UK. Following his nomination by clients, Richard was shortlisted by a judging panel that consisted of:
Max Firth, managing director, business information, Experian UK&I
Dr Rannia Leontaridi OBE, Director, Business Growth at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy
Bev James, author of the Sunday Times bestseller, Do it! Or Ditch It, CEO of The Coaching Academy, start-up advocate and business mentor
Sharron Gunn, Executive Director of Members, Commercial and Shared Services at ICAEW
Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation
Marc Jantzen, founder, TheNub, specialist in accelerating the growth of consulting and advisory businesses
Whether he tops his group, and places as one of the top ten business advisors in the UK, will now be put to a public vote. Commenting on the nomination, Richard said:
“I’m thankful to my clients for nominating me as one of the Top 50 business advisers for 2018, and for the judges to have picked me from amongst tough competition. I’m now excited to be in the running for the Top 10 too. This is a big honour to be nominated by SMEs in Bath, Bristol & the West of England, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year has ahead.”
The Business Doctor went on to add that it was important for SME owners to “know your why” when it came to running their businesses, with his being “knowing that I have made a big impact towards how these companies grow”.
